Palermo is the world capital of street food, and for a cruise passenger, there's no better way to discover the soul of the city than by "eating" it. This tour is a sensory journey through historic markets, where food speaks of millennia of dominations.

1:00 PM – The Challenge of the Brave: Stop at an old focacceria for those who dare to try pani câ meusa (spleen sandwich), the king of local street food.

Frequently asked questions

Is the tour suitable for vegetarians or celiacs?

For vegetarians, Palermo is a paradise (panelle, crocchè, arancini al burro, sfincione). For celiacs, it's more challenging due to the fried foods and bread, but we can customize the tour with tastings of gluten-free cheeses, olives, and desserts at select locations.

Is there a lot of walking?

The tour covers about 3-4 km on foot at a leisurely pace, with plenty of stops for refreshments. It's the best way to explore the city center's narrow streets, but we recommend wearing very comfortable shoes.

Is street food safe for your stomach?

Absolutely. We only select historic vendors and shops that meet high hygiene standards while maintaining the authentic flavor of tradition.
